Graduate Nurse Program 2020
Our hospital values are integral to working within our environment:
Our Graduate Nurse program aims to provide a supported environment for graduate registered nurses to transition into the workforce, consolidating both theoretical knowledge and clinical skills.
Rotations may include: Acute, Aged Care, Theatre. There may also be a possibility of a rotation to TNH SSU (TBC).
The program is managed by the Clinical Education Coordinator and we also provide a dedicated Clinical Support Nurse for mentorship who supports graduate orientation and is available to attend clinical areas for bedside support and teaching. Each rotation has specific objectives and graduates also participate in a Quality Improvement project as part of their program. Study days are onsite in small groups to encourage team building, targeted education and interaction.
