The amazing artwork shown in these photos is the result of many hours of hard work by the primary school students at Ivanhoe Grammar (Mernda Campus).
The fabulous tree, will be proudly on display at Caladenia Nursing Home, where it will help residents and their families celebrate the official opening of the Maggie Beer Garden which was undertaken only last week. The students were given a tour of the Maggie Beer Garden during their visit and were pleased that this would be the home for the beautiful tree.
The other beautiful and colourful works will be displayed in both Dianella Hostel and our new Hospital Wing.
We are simply blown away by the fantastic effort of students and the dedication it has taken to complete these works. We also want to thank the students teachers, Nancy & Natalie too for all their hard work too. The results are simly breathtaking. The feedback we have already received from everyone at the hospital is that the art is stunning and everyone wants them to adorn their walls!
In addition to the artwork, young Samuel, on behalf of his fellow students, presented our Director of Finance and Administration Colin Clark with a cheque for $850!! This money was raised as a result of their Book Fair earlier in the year.
The hospital is very privileged and honoured to be the beneficiary of such outstanding work and we offer our heartfelt thanks to Ivanhoe Grammar School (Mernda Campus).
